Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Kalahari area, S Africa

The left side of the fence is Namibia, the right side S Africa.
Namibia allows hunting, private game farms where you can pay (huge sums) to go shoot a captive rhino or other animal, and no animal is safe.
S Africa understands it's heritage and legacy, and the unique wild game that lives nowhere else in the world. They have strict laws to protect game for the future, while still reaping the much-needed tourist money in the present.

Sandy,
I like photos that tell a story and this one does that. Also I like the lines formed by the road and fence - they really pull you into the image.

South Africa has some of the most notorious private canned game hunts in Africa. Are you sure you didn't get your comments concerning the two countries reversed?
