It has been raining at Bandon Beach for a couple of days. The sun finally broke out in the morning.

Nice composition! I like the lines of the clouds and the light on the water and sea stacks. The sky looks a bit oversaturated in the blues, though. Just curious, but did you darken the clouds at the top? The reason I ask is I would expect them to be lighter, given the sun angle.

Thanks, Preston. It was taken right after sunrise. Darker sky is the result of GND. I did not increase saturation though.

I really like the motion in this image. the sky and surf add a lot of drama. I might try to lighten the upper parts of the sky effected by the GND, but pretty darn nice as is.

John: I only had one day at Bandon last fall so I had a different take on these formations. I really like what you've done here; makes me want to go back and work it some more. >=))>

John, you capitalized well on good conditions. The GND created a strong effect here; I might try to bring it back a little, but this is a fine image either way.

Thanks, Gary, Bill, Jared. I will try to see if I can lighten up the sky a bit.

Love the light on the stacks John. While the grad effect is strong, I think it puts more focus on the golden stacks. Works for me as is.

I worked on sky a bit to lessen the GND effect.

I like the warm rocks and their contrast with the blues. Repost is better.
