Morning light, rhodora and a loon. How pretty, this scene. So do I post it in landscape, flora or avian? Hmmm!

Beautiful and peaceful scene Christine. The loon, though small, adds a lot to the image. The only thing you need to do is to straighten the waterline, as it's tilted down to the right. Nicely done.

Gorgeous, Christine. Lots of really nice elements combine beautifully in this scene. Yes, just straighten the water line and print.

Pity it is crooked as posted because I can't find anything else to criticise. Simply gorgeous.

Thanks for the great comments! I had already done a straighten adjustment before I posted the original. I'll try again. It seemed that when I tried again, it went the other way. The shore line isn't smooth either, as the Rhodora juts out a bit and the trees seem straight vertically. But here goes... I think it is better.

Lovely, tranquil scene, with the loon being a special addition that speaks well of the north woods and haunting calls carrying across quiet lakes. In a scene like this, where the shoreline is almost certainly not straight and running perpendicular to the camera, the only way check on the angle is to use specific locations and their reflections, which by the laws of optics must be vertical. I'm fine with the original.

Wonderful, tranquil scene, Christine. Love that light on the trees, the beautiful flowers, and of course the loon. Fantastic image.
