Really like the extra long beak tucked in tight as the pelican looks down his nose..
He's sayin' this is my space, what ya gonna do about it

Well captured moment on the pier with these two, they seem to be at an impasse on their conversation.
Monterey Bay, what a great place, I spent the summer of 2005 there when working at the Naval Postgraduate School's Space Flight Laboratory.

A fun image to be sure. You don't list the lens used nor the focal length which would be helpful when commenting. A more natural setting would have been nice but I still like your comp of the birds. Thanks for sharing it!

An interesting comparison, Lucy. Nice work getting both birds sharp. Is that a first year Western Gull? The reddish color to the legs is throwing me off...
