Goldfinch I

This is the first of two images a couple of frames apart that I'm going to post. They have just slightly different head turns, and I'm curious as to which people prefer.

1Div, 500mm f4 ISL + 2.0TC, Jobu Gimbal on RRS legs, f10, 1/320, iso 500, -2/3 stop compensation, aperture priority. Neat Image for a bit of noise reduction, and Topaz detail for a bit of fine detail sharpening. Cropped from 16MP to 12.6. Taken May 30th at 8:12 pm.

Your comments and criticisms are sincerely appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

Like the tall frame & long trailing curve of this perch Dennis.
What is the perch BTW?
Sharp with excellent DOF, great complimentary BG & very cool pose:toast:

Dennis,
This is a fetching image. I like the color, the composition and the bird's head is in a not usual position. Good catch. :toast:
