Lily Pads
by Sanjay Sundaram
Taken at a local garden a few months ago.
Not sure why these lily pads had turned yellow. Maybe the colder than normal winter, maybe a deficiency of some sort. But, it made for an interesting shot. The leaves contrasted well with the darker water and I tried to get a pleasing composition while excluding areas with too much leaf debris and such.
Thanks for taking a look and for your comments.

7 commentsThe layout of the pads is very easy on the eyes and details on all of them pretty sharp. There is strange yellowish line merging with the right edge of the frame (about 2 inches top and bottom from center) which you may want to revisit.
