I couldn't resist getting an image from my front porch last night. After the sun went down, the light was sublime. It reminded me of one of those paintings from the Hudson River School, Frederick Church in particular. Thanks for looking!

Joseph, that is definitely some sweet light and color! However, I don't feel that silhouetted treeline is interesting enough to complement the background. Still prettier than my front porch!

I agree Joel. I wish I had a more compelling foreground to compliment that sky, but what can you do. I still felt like the sky was worth showing...

Sweet Joe,
If I came to visit, I would be walking backwards up to your front door . . .
This is one of those 'Sailor's Delight' type of sky and I don't mind the silhouetted tree line, in fact, you should have this posted in the current Weekly Challenge.

It was about as dark as presented, but here's a lighter version for comparison.
