Going With the Flow

Finally back home on my mountain and the headwaters are in a glorious, magnificent flood! They will keep me busy for weeks, I'm sure. I went for something a bit on the simple side with this one; a single directional flow and some nice colors. Nothing fancy, but to my way of thinking, a wonderful homecoming. Thanks for looking.

That's a cracker Nancy. This one really works well. Love the stones beneath and the distortion above.

Spectacular, Nancy Lea. The horizontal lines are look like steps and you found a fine collection of colored stones to show off. When I saw the thumb, I was thinking Mammoth Hot Springs. How nice to have this in your creek. It also says a lot about the local environment that your flooded creek is this clear.

Great color and layers, Nancy. Reminiscent of stacked sedimentary layers. Very cool!

Excellent abstract looking image here, Nancy. Although a very simple image as you've pointed out in your comment, it still takes a calculated eye to pick up on the effectiveness of the scene. Well done on your part to see and capture this wonderful view.

The thumbnail initially reminded me of a coral snake or rock ledges. Nice abstract.
