This is a picture I made at Twin Falls near Port Wing in northern WI and along Lake Superior. I always enjoy a visit here when in the north woods. Thanks for Looking. Larger version included.
Canon, 24-105L, ISO 100, f/11, 2 sec.

What a wonderful image, Nick. The comp is elegant and I like the detail and color in the foliage. My only suggestion is to be sure to print it and display in a prominent location. :toast:

This is wonderful! The rich greens and restrained flow work together for an understated elegance. Beautiful.

Yup, this is a lesson in classic simplicity. The vertical lines vs the horizontal lines, and that simple line of water....well done. :toast:

Just a lovely image of this water fall. The colors and textures are very nice. The composition works very well and the water blur is just right.

Beautiful pair of falls, nicely captured. Is that maidenhair fern back in there?

Looks like a wonderfully cool, calm, quiet place to hang out, Nick. Just looking at this is soothing and your choice of ss to turn the water into mist is what makes that happen.

Love it Nick. As stated elegant describes this image perfectly. I like everything about it but if I had to find a nit it might be that the highlights of the plunge pool may be a tad bright. Excellent find and well crafted. :toast:

Thanks to all of you for your nice comments on this! As always they are much appreciated.
Ronald, I don't think this is one of the variety of maidenhair, but I might be wrong...
Bruce, I can probably tone that highlight down just a bit. Thanks much, Nick

Very simple but extremely nice, and the water seems to be made of pure light... The large version is splendid.
