After a day in Yellowstone where the weather alternated between sunshine and sleet storms, my wife and I returned home to brilliant sunshine and clearing weather, until this isolated storm developed down the valley from us. We watched it develop and fade over about 40 minutes, with this view being late in the cycle, with the rain (or more likely sleet) stopping about 10 minutes after this picture. Do you live in a rural area then?
Well done Mark!
Great view off the back porch, wish we were there with you guys.
The colors, the view, the snow capped mountains, and the shadows all add interest to the squall cloud . . .
