Buffalo Creek Sunrise

It has been two or three months since I have been able to get out and shoot anything close to home. This morning I had a chance and the weather helped out a little, but not as much as I had hoped. This was taken from ahout 3/4 of the way up one of the buttes at Buffalo Creek Wildlife Management Area. Plenty of moisture this spring, so the wildflowers are coming out strong. To much wind to try anything like that. Please see larger image. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Nice peaceful scene, Richard. I like that you were able to pull some good detail in the boulder and the yucca.

Richard, I love the sense of space in this shot. To me a shade more light in the FG to bring out more detail would help. Not much, just a little.

Richard, I like the feel of the wide open space in this as well. This has a wonderful quiet and peaceful mood that I quite enjoy. I agree with Gary that just a touch more light in the foreground would work but it really does come to life in the larger version just as is.

Richard, IMHO the larger version is very impressive. I also would like to see just a tad more lightness in the FG. Thanks for sharing.
