This is pretty cool, David. Guessing you had to really anticipate the lack of traffic to get this.

A beautiful graphic design, if ever I've seen one. How long did it take you to juxtaposition yourself so perfectly with the cables and bridge?

Traffic is light on this bridge on weekend mornings and its a long straight stretch leading up to the bridge. So I pulled over onto the shoulder and waited until no approaching vehicles were in sight and walked to the center divider to get the symmetry I wanted. I had shot this comp a couple of years ago but I really wanted to come back with a clear blue sky to add to the clean graphic feel. So when I was passing through yesterday morning I couldn't resist stopping for a few minutes. It's hand held at f16 ISO 400 24-105mm lens.

I'm sure law enforcement would frown on stopping on the bridge for photography and when I have the chance I'll go back and bike across to have more time to explore different compositions.

Love the graphic quality and symmetry in this. Also the gradient running down the bg.
