Spring Tulips

Hello dear NPN friends, I was long time very silent here. Not posting in NPN gallery but busy photographing. Unfortunately I concentrated more on Landscapes, Transportation and Architectural Details than on flora. That why I've not many flora photos which would be suitable for this prime flora gallery.
I've taken this photo during my traveling in south German Black Forest last month.
I fount this field with beautiful colourful tulips on the southern slopes of fabulous Black Forest. I hope that you do like it.

Hi Miro, Nice to see your post here too. I modified and reposted Toward the Light and the final version is on zenfolio too.

I like the colors in this image very much I'm not crazy with the OOF flowers in the FG on this image and others may like it. Just a personal bias of mine.

Keep on traveling and shooting.

Cheers,
Carol

Very nice Miro. I like the OOF flowers in the front and in the back. The range of colors is very nice. Good to see you posting.

I'm on Carols side about the foreground flowers, but I do like this composition.

Wonderful jewel-like colors, and I am weighing in with the people who like the out of focus flowers both in front and back, with the middle row in focus (mostly). I like the crop also.

Beautiful colors Miro. I particularly like the pano format. I find the oof flowers in the fg interesting but also distracting. Balanced with those in the bg, they work for me though. Excellent photography.

Lovely to see you posting again, Miro - you have been missed on Flora !! I like this very much. I have no problem at all with the mid-distance focal plane - for this particular subject it works well for me. I also like the pano comp and the rich colouring.

Miro - Welcome back

I agree with Pat on his assessment but wanted to highlight some splotches in the foreground merging with the OOF Tulips. Not sure what they are.

Selective focus works nicely here for the Tulips in the center. Lovely colors and assortment.

Other than the dark, shadowy areas within the yellow oof tulips uo front, this is great, Miro. I like the comp, perspective, and dof management.
