Another from my backyard this spring. We have a family of four of these very social birds living in the bushes surrounding our yard. I purposely left the pink buds in...we'll see what you think about that!

50D, 700mm on tripod. ISO 800, 1/60, F8 Almost full frame. LARGER version also posted for your review. Thanks for any comments/critique...I learn from them all! Sharon

Very nice and I like the flower in the BG. I think it's better with it.
Cropping good, focus nice, nice bokeh. Caught in a nice pose. Great green BG.

Could be my monitor, but only thing I would change is to lower exposure/darken the bird. Looks just a little to bright on her to me.
Not a biggie as so easily adjusted if so desired.

Beautiful shot.

Gorgeous bird and nice perch - like the background. The oof flower is a distraction to me and I think a vertical crop would put more emphasis on the bird and not show the distracting glower

Interesting image. I like the pose and color of the catbird, but do agree it could be just a tad darker. Not sure about the OOF flower. I like the color it brings into the image, but wish it was not so far from the main subject. Would like to see a version without the flower, a vertical crop as suggested. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent capture; a bit unusual to find this species so completely out in the open. I like the pink flower. I agree with the others that the bird is slightly over-bright; the grey chest and belly should be darker. Easily fixed. A really nice shot.

I think the flower adds balance to the composition. I agree it needs to be a bit darker.

Superb detail in the Catbird, Sharon, and a great pose. I don't find the flower distracting and it adds some nice balance to the image.
