Feeling Ignored??

During last year's Bosque Workshop, we were treated to a humorous dance from a male trying to get the attention of a female who seemed less than interested! :frown: Always a treat to photograph during some of that famed morning light at the refuge.

Sharon Hallowell, John Neukirch and Patrick O'Healy all enjoyed this as well. I think they've posted some versions of this in the past so I hope this isn't too boring to view my take on the scene.

The cold shoulder....These could never be boring for me! Nice take on this fabulous behavior! Gorgeous light, and the open bill is a plus. Sharon

Cool scene, Keith. I particularly like how well the leaping crane stands out against that nice background.

A very nice and inviting image, seems like a long time ago now. Bosque is truly a magical place and once you’ve been there you’ll feel some sort of force that pulls on you to go back. I had never been there till Keith’s workshop in December and will without a doubt return there as often as I’m able. That phenomenal Bosque light along with how the refuge is laid out provides the bird photographer every opportunity for beautiful images. If you’ve been thinking about visiting there you should consider the workshop that Keith and his colleagues offer, I was quite glad I attended. Thanks again Keith! :toast:

Simply stunning light Keith. You can tell from the shadow of the wing on the left bird that the light is just off the horizon. Cold shoulder for sure. Very funny. You got both birds sharp also. Love the setting. Have to get there one day and would love to shoot with you Keith.
