Another image of butterfly in love. I caught this mating pair (Rice Paper) on the white net of the butterfly house. The gray stripes are the shadows of the sun breakers.

D90, 105mm, f/14, 1/200, ISO800, -0.3 EV, built-in flash, full frame. Butterfly house, Montreal Botanical Garden.

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking.

Unusual man-made perch that works well with its diagonal 'wavy' lines..
Nice detail/DOF in this mating pair, I like the overall comp Yun.
You could post this in 'Man & Nature' too

Nice combination of wildlife and abstract shapes/lines. The minimal color is nice too.

Another really fine image from the butterfly house, Yun. For a man made background, this works really well. I like how the mesh sort of mimics the wings on the beautiful BFs. I also like the comp and excellent detail in the BFs. :toast:

All of the gray and white textures including those in the bf's work really well here, Yun. The butterflies are great, but it fascinating because, for me, they really aren't the main subject.

All been said really.
Love the lines of the netting.
Certainly has instant impact - even small.

Wonderful composition, lines, textures, esp the way the dots in bgd echo those on the butterflies.

Excellent fresh work. BG confuses because of the white lines if you focus more, whether the butterfly is on top or bottom of the net.
