The glow of the setting sun reflected brilliantly off of the west face of The Watchman, which overlooked our campsite at Zion National Park.

Very nice scene with some great color/light/shadow on the cliff face. I wish there were either more of the trees showing at the bottom or none at all, they seem to be 1/2 in and 1/2 out. The color in the URC also seems a little off just because there's not very much of it, maybe a little crop off the top to get rid of the brightest part, but I'm not real sure.

Awesome light on this one.I really like the comp here, perhaps a little more clarity or micro contrast on the mountain. Well seen! :toast:

The Watchman can really lite up, Randy Nice job capturing it at it's finest. I do agree with Scott that the upper right is a little funky.

Very nice light on the peak Randy and very nice colors. I agree with Sairam about pulling out more details in the rock face to add more sharpness in those areas. Well done.

That upper right corner does drag my eye, but I love the light on the Watchman.

I agree about the comment about the treeline. Otherwise the subject and light work strongly here.

Thank you for the nice comments, everyone. Here is another photo, without the trees. The sky in the upper right corner really was an unusual orange-yellow.

Also, I suspect that while a tripod was in use, I may have left shake reduction on by mistake, which would have reduced the image sharpness.
