One of the many "faces" one finds on pansies. I increase the contrast and detail to the petals to give the "face" a more artistic effect.

This really stands out well against the black BG. I like the idea of increasing the detail and contrast, but this is a bit heavy handed, IMO. You have separation going on in the purple and no detail in the center "face". I really think this might work better if the enhancement were more subtle.

Interesting effect Floyd. The black face with the black background almost makes it look like there are holes in the petals. Fun to look at, but I like Phil's suggestion.

Floyd, I'm with the others. I like the shot, but I wish there was more detail in the dark sections of the flower.

Interesting treatment of the subject, Floyd. For my taste, I think I'd like a bit less saturation so more of the gorgeous purple center came through.
