Paintbrush Heaven Plus Re-Post

Gallery: Man & NaturePosted April 17, 2014210 views4 comments

The wildflowers north of Brenham were magnificent this year...the cold weather combined with plenty of rain made conditions ideal. This is one of many photos I will be posting in a series.

Some places had fantastic paintbrushes (like this one), others mainly bluebonnets, yellows, or a mix of all plus purple. Hope you enjoy the series. Some have fences or buildings and will be posted here...others in floral, art or landscape.

Love your composition with the pano, Lucy. I really think the fence going diagonally in the foreground, then the road and fence continuing off into the distance on the left -- works wonderfully! The paintbrushes have colored the fields so beautifully. I would love to see this kind of landscape in my region. Can't wait to see more in your series.

Rebecka, I just posted a new one in Landscape, if you'd like to take a look.

Here is a re-post with a better curves adjustment to reflect the true dazzling colors of the flowers.
