Sharp-tailed Grouse

This Sharp-tailed Grouse was just taking in the action. This was taken at dawn. For me it was a magic moment before the action started.

Nikon D800, f5.6, ISO 400, 1/640

Thanks for looking and critiques appreciated.

Soft and serene - love the subtle colours, nice pose from the grouse, and like-colours.
The one dark area at the left, that may be another upright bird, is a bit distracting..

Beautiful light and a handsome bird posing in it's full glory, wonderful details. A very pleasing composition.

The grouse is nicely sharp and it blends in so nicely with the surrounding colors.

Nice low angle and pretty light. I like the brown tones. A sharp, Sharp-tailed grouse! Sharon
