I saw this lone palm while kayaking on the Sopchoppy River earlier this year. It was so striking, sanding alone with a nice spherical crown that I had to circle back and take this image.

What a great find! Certainly was worth going back for IMO. The sky and water make great color-matched borders that provide a good contrast for the interesting scene in the middle. I like your off-center placement of the tree and the varying textures and tones of the other vegetation. One suggestion I have would be to crop out about half of the water to eliminate the OOF areas. It would feel more balanced to me, too. Simple but striking scene, Paul!

I like the tree, grass and light in this image. I would crop out about half the water and half the sky. That would bring the focus more on the main subject. Now the tree is a little bit lost in the expanse of the image.
