Nice capture, Sandy. I like how the branches frame the egret. I also like the ruffled wing geathers. It's a little dark in the head area but a nice image nonetheless.

Very nice overall Sandy. The detail shows well in the larger image. Given the lighting angle I don't mind the slight darkness in the near face. That looks natural. I would be inclined to pull back just a bit more on the highlights or whites to see if you can recover the detail in the few brightly lit feathers on the shoulder. Well done.

Good angle on your egret with fun looking plumage. The framing with the branches works fairly well. You may wish to move the bird to the left a tad so it's not quite so centered.

Nice look at the beautiful breeding colors, Sandy! The face is a little dark but is still okay and the sun on the top of the head and the chest shows off those feathers very nicely.

Well framed with the surrounding branches and good control of highlights and shadows, despite the rather harsh light. Expertly done! :toast:

Hi Sandy
I will go with what's been suggested. Great looking birds whatever. I quite like the differences in tone - especially on the biggie as it gives a sense of "depth"
And you get all the good stuff !! Not fair !
Cheers

I sort of take these birds for granted not paying attention to breeding colors. It is quite impressive. The image is spectacular.I love the plumage and colors in the bill. Very well done.
