Hi all.

I am always amazed at how different a photo can feel with just a different orientation. This is not the exact same photo as the last one that I posted, but is of the same group. I really liked the feeling of this shot vertical.

Thank you all for the kind words and suggestions on the past photos.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Nathan

Nathan: For some reason I tend to see vertical comps more readily than horizontals so this resonates well with me. Delightful subjects superbly captured. >=))>

It is amazing how an orientation can make a big difference. I have enjoyed the entire crocus series and I like the this grouping either way as the purple flowers, green background and yellow stamen are a nice color combination.

Hi Nathan,
I've only been back in the forums now for about 3 weeks, but your work is immediately recognizable as soon as I pull it up! ....wonderful color, details and comp, and expert use of a shallow dof. This one is no exception -- wonderful, wonderful work! :toast: :toast:

There's a certain exhilaration in these flowers. They seem energetic in the light and with how you developed the image. I like the color, contrast, and selective focus.

Lovely composition with good sharpness in the lower frame and a fine fading into the distance feeling up top.
