Lucy, This is actually a totally "straight" image, right out of the camera with ambient light and minor CS tweaks!
This gorgeous amaryllis didn't need much.

Hi Sandy, the comp has wonderful colors and shape. The red outline of petals and the bright whites give this such a pop from the b/g that it seems to be a blend of two shots…I might try a natural green foliage b/g to eliminate that perception. Well framed…and lit.

Beautiful, Sandy. Very nicely composed and I like the overall presentation. I would not have guessed this was a "straight" image as the petals have a watercolor filter look about them. Top notch floral image, IMO.

I like the high-key effect of your presentation. There are so many amazing colors and varieties of amaryllis. This one is special.

Very pretty Sandy! (Sorry to be late to the party) Great colors and a very pretty bloom. The flower almost looks drawn on with those red outlined petals.
