This relatively young Cheetah had recently lost her brother to another predator and was very nervous. This image was taken at a kill she had made of a young Impalla.
Believe it or not our only sighting of Cheetah in 8 days at Ruaha.
Rich green due to recent heavy rain.

A lovely portrait that also shows the wonderful habitat. :toast:

A really nice capture of this beautiful cat. The green is a bit unusual, as I am most used to seeing these guys in much drier surroundings. The green makes this one stand out. Well done.

Excellent detail and nice work on both the exposure and the color balance to have her that clean in the light shade. :toast:

Facial and body detail are excellent, as is the open mouthed expression. Too bad about the bits of out of focus grass in front of her legs. Was the tail is fast motion, or was it outside the focal zone?

Thanks everybody.
Pesky grass is nearly always a problem, especially at this time of year. The tail movement is an attempt to keep the flies off
