This is a multi-image frame in order to capture the sky during yesterday’s welcome ‘sun break’ between rain storms.

Nikon 14-24mm at 18mm, 1/60th, f5.6, 160 iso and Nikon d800e.

Overall this is a great shot - lots of impact. However, I'm not crazy about the 50/50 split between sky & land, and it appears to be tilting to the left. Your use of a "fast" shutter speed is well conceived here, as it shows the power of the falls better than a slower shutter would have. Nice processing, by the way.

Beautiful scene, and though the sky is gorgeous, I might crop it down somewhat so that the eye is directed more to the falls. Very nice colors and I love that raging waterfall.

Wow, that's pretty. I do agree that the half sky/ half land makes me feel a bit unbalanced, but this is a gorgeous image otherwise. That sky is really nice, and I understand why you may want to keep it, but, wow, the waterfall is really powerful, and really well done, too. The lodge and waterfall, with part of the sky cropped of, is still a great image. The powerlines do show up, and I find them a bit distracting. Just toning them down would help. Overall, it's sweet. :toast:

Classic photo with a postcard comp.
I like the sky, I can see why you included a lot of it.
