This photo was taken in North Bend SP in WV. Your comments and/or critiques very much appreciated. Chet I used an older canon 500L lens and was shooting fuji slide film.

The detail shows very nicely in the larger version. The snow adds to the atmosphere. This is nice enough that I would do a second version removing the larger branches in back and the "sharp" ones sticking in from the left and right edges in front.

I like the snow and the overall soft winter light.

I like the pose and those forward slanting ears. I agree with Rick about those pesky branches encroaching on the frame. In a wider view with more habitat the branches wouldn't be a concern, but in this tighter view it's easier for things to quickly feel busy. This photo definitely has a wintery, cold feel.

Hello Chet
Very tight capture, if you had more room all around.?
The falling snow adds to the atmosphere nicely.
Your description of where taken (This photo was taken in North Bend SP in WV) eludes me ?
If you could include more tech. a better critique could be had
Thanks for sharing
