Storm clouds breaking up just before sunset. Shot from my kayak with the tripod in about 4 ft of water. Fells Cove, FL. Shot two exposures, one for the sky, and the other for the ground.
0.3 sec. f/22, ISO 200. and used a polarizing filter.

A pretty and inviting scene in beautiful light. Makes me want to get my canoe out....but all very thick ice here! :smile: Nick

Thomas, fantastic comp and color. This would be one tough image to blend well, but certainly doable. Your foreground to treeline is more bright than your sky which looks a little off to my eye.

Wonderful foreground subject Thomas. It might be a touch bright compared to he sky but wasn't there so don't know. Regardless, I like it. The foreground itself could be a stand a lone image.

Great image ,I love the color profile, great mood, the right side could do with a little lift and I wish I could see the edge of the leave in the FG. :toast: :toast:

The sky looks a little "off" to me, but I haven't figured out exactly why yet; perhaps overly dark. The FG looks magnificent though. I agree with Eve on it - it could definitely stand on it's own merits.

Great scene with a very nice composition Thomas and really nice sky and colors. I could see darkening the bright water area to more match the sky but very nice as is. Really nice image.
