The expression and overall comp gave you a nice starting point and you carried it to the next level Sandy. I love that you left the eyes as-is :toast:

Perhaps a bit "crunchy, prickly, not sure of the right word", but the pose is great, as is the color in the eyes. Very dramatic image.

Congratulations on the WP Sandy! I have always liked these images you post using fractalius...I really wish the developer would make a Mac version...still don't get that. You think he would want to make more money.

Wow, well I'm very humbled - I have been so busy the last few months, I've hardly posted or commented at all - this is truly a surprise.
Jim fell off a 10-foot ladder right before Christmas, and broke a bunch of ribs and had painful but not life-threatening internal injuries. Recuperation is VERY slow and painful. He never sits still for long, so inactivity is driving him crazy. Both of my parents are also still very ill,  one on each coast.

But the GOOD news is that we will be getting married October 18. frown

It will be a busy year for us - I wish you all a wonderful New Year, with great light and inspiration.
