Relic of a Dream +RP

Seems like every several months, I find myself looking back to my 4 days at Olympic National Park in 2011. It was my first photography trip and I had a great adventure. For an eastern boy like me, the sea stacked ONP coast stands as a unique and marvelous sight in my mind. I love the rush I sometimes feel when looking back through pictures -- a scented gasp that makes feel like I'm still out there.

I'm sure the months and years will continue to produce different renditions of images from my time at ONP, as they do for other locations I've been to. Here's an image I tried on for size tonight. I have always struggled with the several comps/ss I took from here, but I think this is my most successful attempt so far.

Please see my repost here!
Thanks for your feedback! Happy winte

A real sense of mystery in this image and the light is just sweet. Great Composition.

Very surreal man. Nice shot!

I too would go a tad brighter and also try to disguise the haloing in the ridge line rocks. The other thing that stands out is the Larger version is much more de saturated. I almost feel it could handle a tad more. My two cents.

I really like your comp and a great mood to this Navin. Great feel to the water also which adds to the mood. A bit of haloing around the stacks and maybe a touch brighter, but that's just my preference. Really enjoying this a lot. Great job.

I quite like this one Navin, enjoying the smooth water and the moody light. I see the halo Mark mention, i had a lot of trouble with those in my sea stack images too.

This is just oozing with mood, Navin. I can see why you have such fond memories of your photography trip. The light here is sublime and the water treatment is superb. As another east coast boy I have to make it to Olympic one of these days.

This is quite nice, good composition and appealing colours. There are a few things that disturb me too. I think overall a bit dark but that maybe the heavy vignette. It also seems soft and lacking fine detail - don't know if that's a processing thing but has the look of a sea spray affected exposure.

Thanks, everyone for your comments!

I ticked up the brightness slightly and worked on the most prominent halo near the top of the biggest stack. The others seemed to poke out during web sharpening so I pulled it back a bit. @kah kit - this might be even more 'milky' in texture and I certainly see your point. At f/6.3 I found it acceptably sharp but introduced some ortoning that modified the texture as well for the feel of the image.
