Daniel,
The large version definitely has to be seen to really have an opinion on this.
I love these kind of photos and Trillium is a great place for them.
There is a lot to like here, very nice light, the clouds are really nice and add a warm touch.
I think the very dark tree patch in the center is too large for my taste and dominates the photo.
The upper mountain and sky is very nice, I would lighten the reflection to match a bit more.
The star elongation is a bit much, 30 sec, a bit too long for 40mm lens.

NR looks very good at least on the web and this will print very nice.

Nice mood, Daniel. The colors compliment each other well. Am curious as to the brightness of stars in the reflection -- on the fence as to if it is distracting, for me.

Navin, I'm not certain why the stars on the L reflection are so bright. They were that way in the raw file and I fretted over whether to tone them down, but didn't.

What a peaceful feel this has Daniel. I'm not sure that I might not have eliminated the star reflections completely, But I really enjoy this image.

Incredible scene... I like the shadow detail and of course the stars. This may be my monitor (viewing on a laptop now), but there seems to be an interesting yellowish, colored area on the mountain where the tundra meets the forest. Nice capture, and the large version did not disappoint!

Lovely scene. The two bright stars strike me as odd too, but not just their brightness....their orientation. I'll bet an astronomer or physicist could explain why the start length is horizontal in the sky and appears vertical in the reflection. For me, that does distract, but only to the extent that I would clone them out to deter speculation.

This looks pretty amazing overall. My main issue is that noise reduction has made the trees somewhat mushy looking. The stars turn out larger and brighter due to the wall amount of water movement by the way.

Inspiring Daniel. I need to get out and play with the night sky with my D7100 (the D80 was worthless).

The colors look very natural and beautiful. The warm with the cool work great. The clouds add a lot of atmosphere to this as well. I feel your pain with the noise as I'm still shooting the 5D, too. Very nicely done!
