Another Eagle

Yep, another eagle from Alaska. I know this shot is a bit different than most, but it intrigued me. I know i've posted several eagles lately. Hopefully you aren't getting too tired of them.

I was down low on the river and this eagle was on the other side of a small rise. I liked what I saw in the viewfinder. This is full frame.

Interested to hear your thoughts.

I like the composition, Keith. Great head turn and I've always liked partially hidden subjects.

Love the pose and low POV. The grass in front of him and the tall OOF grass behind him does a nice job framing. I'm undecided about the OOF tall grass that he's looking into though.

Keith I totally agree with Dennis being partially hidden does add something to this image, dark Bg also makes it an image I like very much.

I like the profile view and the way you framed the eagle with the FG grasses. Nice to see a different approach.

I also like this different take. I really like the composition and the great setting. hard to get tired of eagles, but at the same time, it's great to see something different.

This image appeals to my personal preference for half-obscured birds ! Lovely ! Hans

Very nice composition with the grasses framing the eagle's head nicely. Great to see one not perched in a tree! Great eye to "see" this! Sharon
