There was mass yucca bloom across the Mohave last year. I've been told that it is a pretty rare event. I'm captivated by their beauty.

Very graphic image, Gary! Great symmetrical comp and wonderful sharp details throughout. The B&W treatment really highlights all the fantastic textures in this bloom. Wonderful lighting too. LOVE the B&W. . .but also curious how it looks in color?
Great capture of this rare event.

Very nice shape and tonal range. Did you add any fill light to this? Looks studio perfect.

Outstanding conversion. Such rich blacks, and soft whites. Reminds me of Ilford 50 film and Pearl paper. This should make one amazing print.

Well crafted conversion, Gary. Besides the good tonal range, I really like the symmetry!

lIford 50 and pearl paper and I once had an affair. Don't miss the chemicals but do miss the tonal ranges.
