I'm sure many of you are tired of seeing images of the snowys we're seeing in the Northeast...but I hope you'll indulge me as I post one more.

This shot from a small municipal airport in Vermont about 30 miles southeast of Burlington.

Hi Charles good detail and nice control of the whites. If you drop the Cyan and then the Blue the image will be a peach, just make sure you drop the Cyan more than the Blue.

Make sure you use sRGB, BTW.

Look forward to seeing these again next month. :wavey:

I never get tired of looking at Snowy Owls as they are certainly very unique and we do not get them down in my area. I like the head turn to show those yellow eyes, way to go.

Excellent, Chuck. Good work handling the "snow glare" white. I agree the cyan in the shadows could be reduced significantly.

I dropped down both the Cyan and Blue Hues channels in two separate layers- any better with the shadow tones?

Very nice. Keep them coming - I miss them now that I'm no longer in the northeast.

Very nice image. No complaints from here on the number of snowy owls! I like your second "improved" version best. Sharon

Great image of this bird in its typical habitat. Wishing there was light on both of those eyes which light up so beautifully in the sun
