This image was taken this fall. This White-throated Sparrow is peering over the branch trying to decide if it should come down or not. At least that is my story.

Nikon D800, 300mm lens plus 1.4 teleconverter, f 5.6, 1/1600, ISO 640

Neat pose - unusual for a sparrow in my experience. You must have caught it in the middle of a move.

Great pose, May and very well exposed. I don't know if it's something in the bg or if you did some processing, but there's an odd looking patch to the left of the Sparrow's head, just before you get to the oof leaves.

This individual is just adorable! Love the pose, and yes, that's a curiosity stance in him all right. Very engaging shot. You captured personality as opposed to just physical beauty.
