Ken - Exceptional pose and face here, and a great view of their marvelous tails!
To me, seems just a little high in the frame.

Really nice pose and choice of composition here, Ken. Hopefully the foxes are as cooperative this winter as they were in the spring.

Not sure if I'll see you out there. I'll be there through January 23rd or so.

Beautiful shot. Love the focus, both yours and the fox's. These animals are really magnificent and you've placed this one just right.

Ken, that's really a super shot - great detail and color in the fox, and subtle shadows in the snow....well done!

Nice photo, Ken. I like how the fox's tail seems to fade into the snow.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you as well Ken. I like the composition here very much. You also got a nice head turn. Although it isn't always necessary to have detail in snow, this photo seems a bit overexposed to me. I think you could also work the shadows a bit to make them more prominent. I like shadows in the snow, they lend a lot of interest and beauty and depth. I'm not a spot metering kind of guy, although nothing wrong with doing it that way of course. Spot metering bright snow seems like it would be a challenge to me? Guess I'm just so used to doing it "my" way.

I'm always keenly aware that commenting about exposure can be just as much about the viewers monitor setup and browsers, etc. than it is about the photo itself. I'm basing this on what I see though.

Happy seasons to you :)

Great to get that head turn and showing the eye focused on something . The colours on his head ,back and tail , is that snow or a colour phase? ( i am using an old notebook with poor video and can not identify details very well). The tip of tail to tip of nose is a great flow and very well positioned in the frame. Lot of empty space to his right but seems very balanced and like the void. never been to yellowstone...yet... but i think wintertime there could be very fulfilling!! Hope you get a full compliment on your upcoming trip.

Nicely composed, Ken. The head turn and the look make this one.

Nice posture and head turn, focused across the frame. This would be a great candidate for a holiday card with room for minimal text message. Good work.

What a beautiful fox in full winter coat. You captured is extremely well. The color of the fox is outstanding and really pops from the background. If this were mine it would be blown up big and hung some where in the house. It needs to be entered in some contests.
