Bosque Sunset

While most of the images posted here on NPN from Bosque Del Apache are of the cranes and geese, Bosque is also well known for some amazing sunrise and sunsets.

Here's one from December 2.

5 image pano stitch

Canon EOS-M
18-55 @ 18mm

Please view the larger version for a bit more impact. 720px panos just don't make it

Beautiful work Keith, and the birds left side in the distance are a real nice touch. :toast:

Breathtaking sky, nicely captured and processed. This is beautiful top to bottom, side to side.

I agree with you, Keith. Early and late night at the Bosque is impressive. Looks like you had a good take at the crane pools. Thanks for sharing.

This small (or should I say tiny, ) pano looks pretty good with the strong lines of color both in the sky and in the reflections. Those four incoming geese (I think) are a nice addition. Like with Bill Leggett's post, I'd like to see a touch of detail in the distant hills, for me that would add some extra depth.

I like how the clouds radiate outward from the point where the sun is setting. Beautiful light and color in this image and I think the silhouetted mountains are appropriate for the time of day. One minor nit is that I think the vignetting is a bit strong in the extreme upper corners, but that is a matter of personal preference.

I really like the sky and the overall, tranquil mood - perfect end of day shot!

Ah, how I miss the frequent and dramatic SW sky color, they are less common here. Well captured Keith!
