An earlier version of this scene had a small tree with a clump of snow that was somewhat distracting. Here is a slightly different comp without the tree and with more snowbank. Your thoughts?

Pano stitched from 5 vertical images, each f/22, 24mm, 1/8 seconds.

I like this very much. The warm glowing light looks wonderful and really adds a beautiful look to this scene. I do prefer this version over the one with the tree and clump of snow on it. Nice work putting this together! Seems like it would make an awesome large print!! Cheers, Nick

You have to view the larger version to really appreciate it but this is an excellent scene and a great capture of the light, Jared. The exposure is right on the money, the narrow aperture gave you a nice star and the composition is as good as you could as for in my opinion. Very well done!
