Ice changes everything. Not the most photogenic falls ordinarily. Canon 5DMk2, EOS16-35mm at 36mm, polarizer. iso320, f16, 0.3sec

Excellent choice. That log is finally good for something….
Very nice perspective and flow.
Nice crop also.

The ice curtains and zigzag flow are neat. I also like the blue/green tones but wonder if it's not too blue.

Nicely composed and the mossy greens combined with icy blues make for a surreal scene. It sure looks cold and slippery down there.

I think you did pretty well with the comp.....love the zigzag flow and the tones are nice. The blue tones make this looks very cold. Perfect shutter speed here too.

Love this. Agreed that this is a tough place to photograph well. But here I like the choice of shutter speed and the comp overall.

It does seem to be a little underexposed in placed and I wonder if one exposure for the water / ice and another for the rest wouldn't provide a more effective dynamic range for this image. I also agree with Mark that it might be a little too blue in places.

All in all, well done. I've left this place more than once without an image I was happy with, so kudos.

Nice composition, Daniel. It looks cold. You might consider bringing the low values and the mid tones some--they look a little dark. Otherwise, this is a nice image.

Ice sure does change things! Beautiful natural sculpturing there, and a sweet comp.

Excellent image Daniel. You are right that the ice changes everything! I really like those icicles that are hanging off that log in front of the falls. This is about the only time that log actually adds anything to this scene, since I usually find it kind of distracting. Well done!

I keep coming back to this one because its downright beautiful. Love to see this one as a large print. Maybe just a tad to dark in the lower half but not necessarily an issue, could be my monitor.
