Please don't discard me

Yesterday's treasure can be come today's garbage. Or, "Please let me stay until at least Christmas!"

I was returning home from my ride a few minutes ago and spied this and thought that the shot is deeper than it seems perhaps.

As a comment, I have some where the discarded toy is very brightly lighted in contrast to the garbage can, but I thought that the garbage can should get the light with the poor discarded doll as an afterthought.

I hope this is appropriate for this forum in that garbage certainly has an impact on our landscape!

Shot with Canon 70D, Canon 100 L Macro lens at 100mm, f8, 1/250, ISO 100

Thanks Marc, I was under the impression that I left it in another gallery. I was in a big hurry to leave for an out-of-town trip when posted. Thanks for putting it in the proper gallery.
