A mid-September evening besides a wet peat bog between two large high-altitude
lakes at the Gran Paradiso National Park in Italy, at about 2600 meters above sea level.
In the wetter areas, vast areas of blooming cotton-grass (eriophorum). Later
in the evening and during the night, clouds finally piled up and bad weather
arrived...

The foreground grasses are very interesting and mimic the cloudy sky with their soft fluffiness. The distant peaks add a fine sense of depth.

The cotton-grass makes a very interesting foreground. Great clouds as well! Very interesting landscape.

The puffy seed heads almost look out of focus in the smaller version. The larger clears it up nicely; they make a great foreground. Nice clouds too! I'd back off on the blue at the top just a tad.
