The hour before sunrise is called the 'blue hour' - yet it only lasts about 10 minutes…but so rewarding to rise early for it. Mycena supina on a moss covered dead tree.

A moody and dreamy photo from a unique perspective. You decided to focus on the foreground?

Thanks for your comment, Ronald. I focused on the front edge of the mycena on the right…the in focus moss lies in the same shallow dof.
Grt, Ingrid.

A creative, moody image, as per your unique style, Ingrid. Looks like you must have been standing in a hole for this super low perspective. Love the soft blues and greens.

This is a really neat photo, Ingrid. Love what you've capture here. Very moody. Composition and exposure are super. I really like how you interpret this scene. And I agree with Scott about standing in a trench or maybe this part of the tree is a lot higher than we think it is.

Ingrid ...an image from a dream world and the colors compliment just that. The third mushroom at the far left end makes this one a very good image.

I sure like the low down view of the moss and the soft blues. I find the brightness on the left edge distracting and think that some burning in there would help preserve the mood.

I really like the point shooting and the colors and light that give the image something magical.

An original take on mushrooms. I like the low angle and the moody, mysterious atmosphere with a solidly grounded foundation and the mushrooms appearing to be floating in the haze. There is even a filament (spider web?) with dew drops.

This is great. I love how it disorients our sense of scale. Wonderful perspective.
