It is a beauty Sandy ! The details on the white feathers are amazing. It looks even better on larger version. I have never seen a Great Egret in high breeding plumage before. Congrats ! :toast:

The detail of the neck feathers is excellent, the whites are done correctly without losing the detail, an excellent capture of the egret

Sandy, this is a beautiful image of a beautiful bird. It shows the fine details of the feathers, eyes, face, and beak. The only change that I would consider would be to try to burn the feathers on the back to bring out details there as well.

Well done.

Gorgeous portrait, Sandy. Wonderful detail in the fluffed out feathers and great breeding colors. The curvature of the neck is just perfect for this presentation.

A sweet close-up portrait Sandy  A very pleasing composition. I really like the fluffed up feathers on that curvy neck.
