Watching the Black-capped working the feeder this morning in the snow I realized that it won't be too long before we start seeing these Boreal Chickadees in Northern Vermont.

This image was captured last April in St. John's Newfoundland.

Wonderful shot with great background and colors. I just wonder if stooping down a bit more would have brought the tail in better focus. Looks like you had the shutter speed to give. Just a thought. Good job.

A terrific mage as posted. I've only seen one and not like this - a rare vagrant in New Jersey one winter long ago.

This is just delightful! Beautiful little bird in a perfect pose, fine detail, bright eye, and a nice perch and BG.

Excellent work, Chuck. We get them on suet here in the winter, but they tend to be present in crepuscular light. Minor nit: you have the ID right in the title but wrong in your description.
