Very nice flight shot  I like the position of the wings. IMHO it could use just a bit more detail in the light areas such as the cranes neck. Still, just a minor thing. Thanks for sharing.

Nice Sandhill, sandy. The detail of the eye, and stopped motion make this a real keeper. Thanks for sharing

Nice shot of this magnificent bird in flight Sandy. Love the wing position, the open beak, and the sharp details.

Very nice flight image, Sandy. I'm headed out to the Bosque next Saturday (my fifth consecutive visit there). Really looking forward to it.

Wonderful shot. The eye is very clear which is very important. Good job.

Great detail. I have trouble doing this bird justice when they are standing still.

The mute colors work very well here Sandy ! Wonderful shot of a great species! Should it be possible, some more space around the bird would make it even better IMO, but it's great as posted ! Cheers, Hans

Very good DOF, detail, POV, pose, and exposure Sandy.
I think the muted complimentary colors of the BG work nicely too..
They draw your eye to this good looking 'redhead'
Well done! :toast:

Wow,

Sandy the larger version rocks. Perhaps a smidge more room for him to fly into?
