A delightful image for me, David. I especially enjoy the subtle lighting and the consistent composition.

Beautiful, you caught this just at the right time with the light breaking through the canopy with that little touch of warm color in the upper right corner, the large view is definitely a must. Gorgeous work as always David.

This has a very nice feel, but I think just a touch more contrast would give it a bit more impact.

Very nice David, I love it. I'm guessing that is a hint of sunlight in upper right? Large photo is a delight.

Hi David,
This is a nice photo of what appears to be a large cypress tree tree shrouded in mist and foliage. I especially like the light that shines on the leaves in front of and to the right of the big tree. The only possible thing that I can think of would be to see the entire bushy plant in the left side of the frame; just a small bit of it is missing.
Well done.

David this is a wonderful, almost ghostly image. The emerging light, the overall mystery of the cyprus in the fog all terrific. Nice!! Chet

I think this is great just the way it is David. I think more contrast would diminish the dreamy, ethereal mood you captured so well. One of your best, IMO!

I wish I had a spot like this to go to on a foggy morning. The brighter highlights are a special treat here.

fabulous - i like this a lot. I could see a little being sliced off the right - i think that this would add further balance to the image. nice work!

Did you paint this or photograph it?? Wonderful painterly look to it and a great mysterious mood, as well. I like this a lot.

Very nice mood and light in this David. The large version has such a dreamy quality to it and shows the dappled light very
well. Beautiful job on this.

Incredibly moody David. Really makes me want to come visit you!! You do these (both compositionally and technically) better than anyone. I'm not questioning your choice here (because I'm on a crappy uncalibrated work monitor) but have you considered boosting saturation just a bit?

Simply amazing the many "looks" the swamps present to you!
You've captured so many, and just when I might think, "What other moods exist there", you bring another real gem to the forum.
Beautiful David!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I tried different levels of saturation and contrast but this just felt the best for the foggy conditions. Six months/weeks/days down the road I might see it differently. As for the comp, we all know it is always a compromise. A bit off of the right edge is an interesting possibility.
