The subject is nice and the reflection is what makes this image. I would probably get rid of the grassy area in the for ground. It competes with the the real center of interest which is the mountains and reflection. It also needs a little more pop. Maybe some contrast or a bit of more saturation. It would help a lot if you posted you technical data with the image. You would probably get more feed back if you gave feedback to some image also. The recommendation is to critique 5 images of each one you post. I look forward to seeing more of your work. This is a great place to grow as a photographer. I have found as I critique other photos it has helped me improve my own photo skills.

Hi Chris, I am inclined to agree with Richard. Maybe if you had stood at the waters edge to take this it would have eliminated the foreground grasses which don't really add to the shot.
Cheers, Gary.

Hi Chris, I agree that getting a little closer eliminating the foreground would probably have worked better here. The background mountains, trees and reflections look like the real interest here to me. It's a wonderful view.

Some good stuff to work with here Chris. Think I would crop out the near mound of shore here as I do not feel it adds anything to the comp. What are you using for post processing? Think I would add a little shadow adjustment and saturation to make it POP a bit more. Very interesting reflection on the right.

Hi Chris.
This is a great scene. Even before I read the other viewers' comments, I viewed the larger image and scrolled the grass in the foreground out of view. Then, the reflections on the smooth water soots out. and made it an even better scene in my opinion.

I like this image view as is, but like it more with the fg removed Chris. You have some nice elements in this image with the reflections, clouds, and mountain backdrop.
