Adirondack Autumn Sun
by Wayne Jones
The title comes from my memories of autumn drives when I was a kid. Our long Adirondack camping trips were all in the summer. In the fall, Dad built a platform in the back seat that allowed us kids to lie down and sleep on the way home from day trips (long before seat belts). That allowed us to stretch our touring time and witness some nice sunsets. This bright afternoon view of the Keene Valley reminded me of those trips, and posing for Kodachromes, squinting into the Sun.

Tons of detail here, so compression is really hurting it.
