Yellow Wings

The leaves on this tree ( a Cappadocian maple, I think ) never stopped fluttering and shimmering in the autumn breeze; this view of them made me think of a flock of birds taking flight.

Canon 400D, 18-55mm lens @ 37mm, 1/400 sec @ f11, ISO 400, hh; added glow layer in Perfect Effects.

Strong composition and beautiful complementary colors Ian. The diagonals in the limbs suggest movement and energy. I can see and hear your birds. Beautiful image.

Ian - Simple but effective. I like the yellow against the blue and also the arc the tree makes !!

Nice contrasting color combo, Ian, and the branches radiating from the LRC anchor the image. Well seen.
