Caught a little fall foliage in NH's White Mountains before things faded fast. Found the mix of trees at peak and those past peak an interesting mix. A textural cornicopia for me. Had hope early morning fog would have filled the grooves to add additional interest, but the weather has just been too warm. Comments or suggestions appreciated

LARGER VIEW much more enjoyable. Needed to save at 50% for uploads.

Nice view with a lot of nice color.
The greens at the bottom of the canyon give it a nice contrast and a nice diagonal comp from corner to corner.

Harry, I was just sitting here and looking at your larger version for awhile...so nice! Reminds me some of the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness Area I just spent some time in. I like this a lot just as it is. Maybe next time you will get the fog too. :toast:

Fog would be cool, but this is very strong as is. I really like your composition with the strong diagonal, and the way the warm/cool/warm layers stack up is perfect. I do wish the close guy in the llc wasn't there, but it's not a big deal.

This is beautiful Harry! I really like the zig-zag comp and the sheer number of trees is incredible. Great mix of green/yellow/red. Everything looks good to me.

This is just gorgeous Harry. I like how the darker valleys zig zag through the scene and of course the stunning color. The large view is a must.

Stan - Now I realize what your issues are - you're color blind  You think orange is brown!

I don't know Stan, I saw scenes this weekend and past in NH but no browns. Maybe not as yellow as you guys get in Colorado but a glorious mix of yellows, oranges and reds..... A little bit of gray here due to past peak as Harry said. The weekend previous would have blown your monitor out due to the explosion of autumn color but I still really love this especially the abstract qualities. Did I capture any thing like it... no I was absorbed with waterfalls and rocks. :-)
